The K385030 high performance knife fits a variety of vertical mixer wagons to include Patz®, Laird™, Peecon®, Penta®, Supreme™, Kirby™, AGM™ and Trioliet®. A K385030BP backing plate is required when using these knives. This knife is used for cutting and mixing livestock rations. The K385030 mixer knife uses a solid carbide insert edge providing 2-3 times the cutting life of the blade over a standard tungsten coated steel edge. The additional, Kooima Ag patented serrated design, provides a more aggressive cut which is essential in longer dry hay rations.

These are installed using factory settings, no special tools required. Wondering when you need to replace your mixer knives? A visual inspection must be made to determine the knife body integrity. If too much body wear is allowed the potential to lose the carbide inserts is increased.
