What is this product used for?
The gathering drum is mounted above the drum rotor and is designed to hold silage and other forage upright while the knives cut it off near the ground.

The gathering drum is mounted above the drum rotor, positioned to facilitate the proper flow of forage into the header during cutting operations.

How do you install this product? Any special tools or torque specs?
Install the gathering drum following the operator’s manual specifications. If the gathering drum is not feeding properly, you can bolt or weld on the following scrapers to help hold the silage or forage:

• Top Replacement Bolt-on Scraper: KK83254
• Second Row Down Replacement Scraper: KK70937
• Third Row Down Replacement Scraper: KK69560
• Bottom Row Replacement Scraper: KK87284
• Bottom Row Weld-on Point: KK90655

Fits: 330, 345, 360, 375 after serial number 105200 & 684, 686, 688, 710 after serial number 103954

Uses LCA77286 mounting flange

Does this product have any special features, coatings, or patents? 
The gathering drum and scrapers are designed to ensure proper forage flow and cutting efficiency. Scrapers can be bolted or welded onto maintain optimal feeding. Additionally, replaceable lower feed complete segments (KK90964SG) are available for long-term performance.

When do you know you need to replace this product?
Replace the gathering drum when segments are bent, worn sharp, or when the drum is no longer balanced. Also, replace scrapers when they can no longer effectively hold the forage in place or show signs of significant wear.
