The K36504 stalk chopping knife (also known as a chopping corn knife) is used to cut stalk residue after the corn is stripped from the stalk. This knife is installed on the stalk chopper gearbox of JD® corn heads. The knife is made to fit:

• John Deere® 606C corn head stalk chopping knife
• John Deere® 608C corn head stalk chopping knife
• John Deere® 612C corn head stalk chopping knife
• John Deere® 616C corn head stalk chopping knife
• John Deere® 618C corn head stalk chopping knife
• John Deere® 706C corn head stalk chopping knife
• John Deere® 708C corn head stalk chopping knife
• John Deere® 708FC corn head stalk chopping knife
• John Deere® 712C corn head stalk chopping knife
• John Deere® 712FC corn head stalk chopping knife
• John Deere® 716C corn head stalk chopping knife
• John Deere® 718C corn head stalk chopping knife

Install to factory settings, no special tools are required. Use the K36504BK bolt kit to mount these knives (1 kit is required per knife). The knives are heat-treated and tungsten carbide coated. Visually inspect for wear and replace as needed.
