This heat-treated knife features a tungsten carbide hard-facing, ensuring a long service life even under heavy use and harsh conditions. Perfectly suited for chopping forage, such as hay, alfalfa, winter wheat, and cover crops, this grass knife is an essential component for maximizing your harvester's efficiency.

Installation Guidelines: For installation, use bolt K69650 3 required per knife.  Ensure that bolts are torqued to the recommended specifications to guarantee secure installation. 

Replacement: Regularly inspect the knife for signs of wear, such as heavy chips or the loss of tungsten carbide on the cutting edge. Replace the knife if you notice longer cut lengths or excessive wear to maintain optimal cutting efficiency. 

Additional Information: 

• Quantity Needed: 40, 48, or 56 knives are required per drum, depending on the cutter drum setup, to achieve the best cutting performance.
• Corn Knife Option: For silage and earlage cutting, we recommend using the K72500 corn knife.
