Where this product goes: This product is installed on the John Deere 9000 series SPFH (Self-Propelled Forage Harvester).

What is this product used for? This bar is used in conjunction with the top strap and knife bolts to hold the cutter drum knife in place, ensuring secure and accurate knife positioning during operation.

How do you install this product? Install to factory settings. Ensure that the knife bolts are torqued correctly during installation. This product does not require any special tools or torque specs beyond the standard factory settings.

Special features: This bar incorporates two set screws designed to keep the bar securely in place when replacing knives, ensuring reliable retention and easy maintenance during knife changes.

When do you know you need to replace this product? Replace every 2nd or 3rd set of knives, provided that the knife bolts were initially torqued correctly when installed.
