Knife (3940, 3950, 3955 series)

The K61962 knife will fit John Deere® 3940-3950 and 3955 pull-type harvester. This knife is used on the harvester cutter drum to cut the material being harvested. There are 36 knives required per drum.

Each knife is heat-treated and tungsten hard-faced. The cutting edge is ground in for consistent hardness out to the tip of the knife. Install to factory settings, torque bolts to 110 ft. lbs., do not install with an impact wrench. Visually inspect for wear, and replace as needed.
