Dust Plug

Use: This dust plug prevents dirt and grime from entering bearings.

Installation: It is pressed into place without requiring special tools or torque specifications.

Replacement Indicators: Replace the dust plug when it no longer effectively keeps dirt and dust out.

This part fits the John Deere 6000 and 7000 series forage harvesters with a kernel processor installed. There are two of these required per machine. 

It also fits the 1-row, 2-row, and 3-row John Deere corn heads.
