Dual Roll Adapter to fit New Holland® (FR Series)

The KFR1000 is used for harvesting just the ears of corn using the row crop header to make earlage. Earlage is harvested later than silage, giving the producer a longer working window, and it provides a product that reduces the amount of roughage needed compared to a corn-based ration. This dual-roll adapter is highly recommended for operations exceeding 300 acres of earlage, delivering consistent performance and durability.

These adapters are known for their robustness, with many customers experiencing over 10 years of use. Typically, replacement occurs when a customer trades brands or upgrades their harvester.

The KFR1000 will mount on the front of a New Holland® FR Series self-propelled forage harvester to facilitate the connection between the harvester and a crop row header. It is ideally suited for 10- to 12-row corn heads and fits both narrow and wide row heads. The design and feeding angle promote faster product feeding when harvesting. Forage harvester will need dual drive hookups to power various corn heads, including John Deere®, New Holland®, Case IH®, Drago™, and more. Conversion brackets for Case IH® or New Holland® Corn Heads K98CJD, and K4000CH. Conversion bracket for Geringhoff® KGCKIT. 

Installation of the KFR920 Header Adapter is the same as hooking up any other implement; you can leave the adapter on the harvester or corn head when not in use. When leaving the adapter on the corn head, it's simply picking up the adapter/corn head and hooking up the PTOs.

Measuring Your PTO Connection:

To ensure proper compatibility, measure the Hex shaft on your corn head by removing the PTO where it connects to the frame. Common sizes include:

• 1-1/8”
• 1-1/4”
• 1-1/2”
