Main Knife Rotor – Large Drum Kemper and John Deere Headers

This is the main knife rotor used on large drum Kemper and John Deere headers. It is bolted to the gearbox and spins in either a clockwise or counterclockwise direction, depending on the header configuration. The rotor plays a crucial role in efficiently cutting and processing crop material.

Replace the rotor when cracks are present on the outside ring or if the rotor becomes unbalanced. For optimal performance, use knives KK66037RTC, KK66037LTC, KK129957, or KK129956. Eight knives are required per rotor. To reinforce and strengthen the outside ring, use reinforcement strap KK97894.
