Mid-Height Skid Shoe

The K13210521 mid-height skid shoe is used to protect the rock guards from wear. This skid shoe gets bolted to the bottom of the rock guard on Max cut cutter bars. This skid shoe is designed to raise up the cutter bed by about 1 1/2", the middle of the road cutting to the ground and is the most commonly used.

To install the skid shoe, slide the front lip of the skid shoe into the slot on the front of the rock guard. Press the skid shoe up to the rock guard and start the nut on the backside. Replace the skid shoe when holes start to appear in the bottom surface or the sides start wearing out.
